Beautiful, sumptuous quality. I am a five foot five inches size twelve and the suggested size fits perfectly....about mid calf. It isn't overly bulky and is very comfortable to move around in, make breakfast etc. Doesn't look overly heavy for washing. It is warm enough....and comfortable, being cotton. As mentioned elsewhere the belt tie has two options, presumably because it is unisex so caters for unisex body shapes. The colour is more of a burgundy red than a raspberry. I was looking for something a bit more 'feminine' but will keep it anyway as it is just too gorgeous an item to return. It is only the colour which isn't just perfect for me....but I can live with that, other things considered. thank you Christy.

Love these, I have eczema so hsve to natursl products next to my skin, these robes are cotton towelling on the onside and a cotton velour on the outside, so my skin loves it and it looks very plush too!

Its lovely and soft, colour is lovely, not sure how it washes as its a gift, i am sure it will be fine, I am never disappointed with the Christy brand, first place I go to for towels, never buy anything else.
