                      What is towel GSM? 

                      Towel GSM is the unit of measurement used to specify the weight of a towel. Typically, a towel with low GSM is light and thin, whereas a towel with high GSM is thicker, softer, and more absorbent. 

                      Christy towels range from a quick-drying 450 GSM to a super-absorbent and premium 800 GSM. When considering GSM, think about what works in your home, and note that it’s not only the GSM that will give your towel its unique properties, the type of fabric and the weave also impact this. 

                      How many towels do I need? 

                      Experts at Christy recommend that each person per household should have a set of towels made up of two hand towels, two bath towels, and two face cloths.                       How often should I wash my towels? 

                      Experts recommend washing your towels after three to four uses, and to avoid sharing. If this seems too often, aim for at least once a week. This is because of the amount of germs and bacteria that can fester on your towels after every use. By hanging them up to dry, you can also limit damp mustiness.
